The perfect place for a cozy round among friends

The house is really great! Despite the deliberate furnishing
from a different era, a very modern building 
with the latest technology. Sufficient space for 6 adults. 
We have felt very comfortable and the extensive
possibilities. Whirpool, sauna, gas grill, fireplace, 
Foosball, darts, coffee machine, what more could you want?
Gladly again at any time! The host is very communicative, 
and has put a lot of thought into making the stay for his guests
a real experience for his guests.

Family vacation

It was a very nice vacation, even if the weather was sometimes bad
there are numerous possibilities to entertain yourself.
There is a table soccer, darts a spacious sauna 
and a covered Jacuzzi. The house has everything you need to
to live and you can use everything. The garden is super large
and offers among other things a basketball hoop and two small soccer goals
the balls are of course included. For those who want to enter it quiet and relaxed, this would be just the place.
The area is surrounded by beautiful forests where you can walk or hike. Various shopping facilities 
are nearby and can be reached by car in 5 minutes. 
In the garden there is a fireplace with a large fire bowl
where you can spend the evening comfortably under fire. All in all a very nice vacation. The host is very nice and always available for questions.

Truly a top stay in beautiful surroundings

From the first contact to the last day, we are completely 
taken care of. The house has real German character, but everything you 
need (including a roof full of solar panels)! A wonderful jacuzzi, 
good beds, two bathrooms, a sauna and beautiful surroundings
with plenty to do and see. Joachim is a top host. 
We were given a tour upon arrival and there was a drink
cold for later. We were allowed to use everything (3 refrigerators, fire bowl, soccer goals, jeuz de boules, 2 kitchens, a freezer,
two ovens etc.) At about 10 minutes by bike there are restaurants 
and within a radius of 15 kilometers you will find a cave, forests with 
water (also one within walking distance), beer gardens and miniature golf. 
Within half an hour by car you are in Cologne. 
Truly a wonderful vacation destination!

Very nice house in great location with lots of luxury

In grandma's vacation home we have lacked nothing! The object was really very very neat and very clean. There was also plenty of space and in the high-quality Jacuzzi and the beautiful sauna you could relax quite excellent. The accessibility is perfect, both by car and by train, shopping facilities are right in the corner, but at the same time the house is located directly on the forest.
An upgrade to a 7th person was possible, but not quite cheap. Communication with the owner was excellent.
We recommend it without reservation.

Beautiful vacation home for young and old

During our three-week stay we have come to appreciate the advantages of the vacation home. The vacation home is centrally located in the Bergisches Land. By car and train all the sights and cities of the region are easy to reach.
The house already makes a very good impression from the outside. The property is well maintained and offers enough space to spend the day undisturbed. The landlord has invested a lot of money to make the stay pleasant even on cool and rainy days. Particularly worth mentioning are the sauna and the jacuzzi in the garden.
All windows of the house are equipped with fly screens and have external or internal blinds. The kitchen equipment is worth mentioning. In addition to stove, oven, refrigerator, kettle, dishwasher and microwave, there is also a fully automatic coffee machine. Pots in every size, sufficient dishes, cutlery and glasses are available. A high-quality knife block, several branded pans and a top-class kitchen radio round off the positive overall picture. So it doesn't even matter that the fitted kitchen itself is a bit outdated.
Barbecue fans get their money's worth. A premium gas grill in the garden leaves nothing to be desired. A garden house with a large table can be used. Another outdoor seating area is a terrace next to the living room.
Kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway and guest toilet on the first floor are tiled and carpeted. The two bedrooms and the children's room upstairs have parquet flooring of high quality. There are enough closets and storage space. The beds are comfortable to sleep in.
The bathroom in the basement is certainly a compromise. Due to the structural conditions, however, there is no other possibility to accommodate the full bathroom with shower and bathtub here. The bathroom is accessed via a somewhat steep staircase that leads from the kitchen to the basement. Another shower is located in the guest toilet on the first floor.
A note on the furniture: The furnishings of the rooms are functional and cozy, but could look a bit old-fashioned to young people. With regard to the furniture, the name of the vacation accommodation is to be taken literally.
Conclusion: The vacation home can be recommended all around and is one of the showpieces in the Bergisches Land. In any case, we enjoyed our stay very much.
